On behalf of the dedicated men and women of the Dade City Police Department, thank you for taking the time to visit our website.
Established in 1889, and located in the rolling hills of eastern Pasco County, the City of Dade City serves as the county seat. The City typifies what many consider old or historic Florida and is recognized for its charm, character, and resilient spirit. Its quaint downtown district, with unique shopping and dining, is also an attractive destination for many visitors.

Our prime purpose is to preserve peace and order, prevent and detect crime, apprehend offenders, and protect persons and property under the laws of the State of Florida and the ordinances of the City of Dade City.
Our mission is to promote and maintain an atmosphere of safety and security within our community through highly skilled employees, dedicated to the protection of constitutional guarantees, the maintenance of order, and the safeguarding of life and property. We pledge to provide courteous, competent law enforcement services to the citizens of Dade City, resolving problems and conflicts in a fair and impartial manner.
